Cathedral Camp - 13-20 August
We are delighted to welcome the
members of our cathedral camp who have been working hard on various projects
around the church. As a thank you to them, we are having a farewell supper on Tuesday
19 August at 7pm - please let the church office know if you would like
to come.
Bon Voyage and Bienvenue!
This will be Jonathan's last
service with us for a while as he is taking a sabbatical until November. David
Cook will be joining us as Acting Organist during this time. We wish Jonathan a
very enjoyable break and offer a warm welcome to David
Foundations in Faith - Sunday 7 September at 9.30am
Join us for this monthly adult
study period as we continue thinking about Growing in the Scriptures. We will
meet at 9.30am in the Porch Room (entrance on the corner of the church by the
car park).
Holy City - Sunday 7 September, 6.30pm
Join us for the first of our new
monthly Holy City services. Organised in partnership with the Wild Goose
Resource Group in Glasgow it focuses on realities of choice, lifestyle, personal
agendas and the relevance of faith in the contemporary world. It is a time and
place for certainty and doubt, praising and questioning God, an occasion to
rediscover the value of conversation and debate, to savour silence and
scripture, to celebrate song and symbol. All welcome.
Gala Dinner: 'Light up All Hallows' - Wednesday 17 September, 6.30pm
The Friends of All Hallows are
holding fundraising Gala Dinner in September to raise money for the upgrading of
the lighting system in the church. The evening will consist of a 3-course dinner
with entertainment, a raffle and prize draw. Tickets are now available from the

Archbishop of Canterbury's Visit - Sunday 21 September
The Archbishop of Canterbury,
patron of All Hallows, will be preaching at the morning Eucharist on 21
September and this will be followed by a reception at 'Beyond Boyle@All
Hallows'. Invitations have now been sent out, so please let the church office
know asap if you are planning to attend.
Musical Tuesdays in September
All Hallows is holding a season of
Lunchtime Concerts on Tuesdays during September. The performances are from
1.10-2.00pm, and admission is free. Do come along and enjoy a little musical
interlude in your day.
