The only piece saved from the original pulpit of All Hallows is the lectern desk in the choir and this motif is used in the plasterwork on the light fittings in the nave area. The present pulpit is carved in the style of Gibbons and comes from the Church of St Swithun's, London Stone. Above it is the tester, or sounding board, designed to represent three pilgrim shells associated with the pilgrimage of St James Compostella in Spain.
